When I clicked on the desktop icon to install activate? I did so through the Control Panel. I clicked on the desktop icon again and this time was able to enter the product key. After waiting a while I restarted my computer and clicked on the desktop icon again, but get the message “Setup did not complete successfully. We are sorry for the inconvienence. So, now I don’t have this installed but I also don’t have the Beta version I was using before. Do I need to just download the thing all over again?
Please help! I need a function version of Word, the sooner the better. Thank you! Also, I had an outdated trial version of MS on my computer – I could view files but not edit them in anyway- that I tried uninstalling to see if that makes a difference, but it didn’t.
It just made it so that I can’t even view the Word files I have. So all Office suites and related Office applications are uninstalled? Windows XP with SP3? Was this reply helpful? Yes No.
