If you have CS6 installed shared components will be removed and will break it. And in any case, it leaves pieces behind, including full applications like Lightroom, Flash Builder, Fireworks, Extension Manager, Edge, Audition and Acrobat and even the SDKs and plugins, all which are available for download. The method that CS5 was installed was with the CD data from a network share. Adobe installers are special and by special, I mean crap in this regard.
